I think that might change in the future, but currently you either deal with it, buy on iTunes, buy on Amazon or torrent best option. I mean I knew you couldn't get playback from putting a thumb drive in the system but I certainly as hell didn't know that if you buy a movie or tv show from PSN you can't download it and save it on your system.
