Your User Name? If you do not know how to set up another Steam Game Library Folder outside of Program Files Directory Click Steam top left corner, then scroll down and click downloads, then at the top you will see Steam Library Folders, click it, then click Add Library Folder, add your Library Folder to another drive, then redownload Oblivion and direct it there, or right click Oblivion in your game library on the left, select properties, then Local Files, then Move install folder and direct it to your new game library folder If you must use an ssd if you are going to put it on your ssd then you must do the following to get Steam, out of the Program Files directory, Steam only allows one game folder per drive, so as long as Steam is installed in the Program Files Directory, you can not simply make another folder on your C Drive outside of Program Files you must move Steam out, and this is how.
Modding Tools Folder Make a new folder, name it Modding Tools and place it somewhere safe where you will find it and somewhere that you want ever have to move it, and do not put it in the programs file directory. When Downloading Mods When i say a manual download, what i mean is follow the mod link I have listed and click the files tab on the mod page and on the file I say to download, click manual download.
These mods listed in my guide should be Endorsed, they all deserve it and an Endorsement shows some appreciation for all the hard work the Authors put in for FREE so we can play Oblivion looking Beautiful, so please hit that ENDORSE button, it cost you nothing, just a click of the mouse.

Goonz, Hi mate, having a bit of trouble. I've followed your guide to the letter, but when i go to launch the game, it doesn't open at all. If i try run it from the. I'm actually not using most of the mods on the list, just everything up to UI, and then OCO and three from combat. I'm at my wits end, this is the third modding guide i've tried, the only reason i'm even modding the game is for OCO can't with the original faces.

Cappu View Profile View Posts. So, I can't get my mods for Oblivion to work when I install them manually.. They show up in the data files If the installed mods has one or more. Installing my mods manually was never a problem on the 5th anniversary edition My physical copy of the game which is not connected to Steam in any way. Do I need to have the game installed on another hard drive to be able to install my mods manually or do I really have to use a mod manager? It's more convenient for me to install mods manually and sometimes the mod manager seems to install things incorrectly which can lead to missing textures in-game and other issues.
I haven't found much information about this problem so I assume it's not like this for everybody? Showing 1 - 11 of 11 comments. Originally posted by fish :. Last edited by Cappu ; 21 Oct, pm. Last edited by BirdMan ; 22 Oct, pm. Originally posted by Jarl Arne :.
After attmepting to mod my game and failing now the game wont even launch on a clean install of the game, all i can say is this game is crap at modding, it requires so many stupid pieces of software to even get it to come close to workingl meanwile i can pile mods onto a game from and hae it work flawlessly.
